IT Head Technical Lead

FULL POSITION DESCRIPTION

Duties & Responsibilities

• Your primary focus will be to support, mentor and develop project delivery infrastructure lifecycle to clients
• Plan, install, manage, and maintain Microsoft Server Platforms, Office 365, Azure, Cloud migration, Exchange (online and on-prem)
• Conducting regular system audits
• Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, procedures other documentations as required to support the activities of the IT team
• End to end planning and management of IT project, define project objectives, project scope, roles and responsibilities, costings proposals to end user
• Ensure the team delivers services according to service level agreements  & ITSM best practice
• Determining resource requirements and managing resource availability and allocation – both internal and third party
• Procurement of Hardware and Software requirements for projects
• Work closely with clients to review, explore, and implement technology improvements to present solutions on various assignments including software/ hardware improvements
• Prepare, allocate and manage annual budgets and project resources
• Quality Control – Identifying and mitigating potential risks of project 
• Meeting agreed deadlines within project timeframes
• Leading and managing team resources and workload
• Technical support to all internal IT projects rolled out across Evolve
• Ensure compliance with all related IT legislative requirements and data privacy principles
• Troubleshoot and triage hardware and software issues presented at a higher level of required support

Professional Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent related discipline 
• Minimum 3 year’s experience or exposure to managed service environment in an adjacent role is an advantage
• Knowledge with PSA tools
• Experience using job management platforms (JIM2) and RMM tools 
• Knowledge of Hardware (Desktops, Laptops, Mobile devices etc.) maintenance, support, and deployment/rollouts
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Disaster Recovery Planning, Windows Virtual Desktop
• Proficiency deploying cloud networking (Azure) and its environment, as well as physical and virtual servers
• Experience supporting Microsoft eco system business applications (Windows Server, MS Office 365, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint)
